PB2 Powdered Almond Butter is almond butter re-imagined! Freshly roasted almonds are pressed to remove most of the oil. Mix in a little sugar and a dash of salt for flavor, and the result is almond butter with only 1.5 g of fat per serving - almost 70% fewer calories than traditional almond butter and 5 g of plant-based protein.
The subject of powdered almond butter tends to create a lot of questions. One we hear frequently is, Why should I make the switch to powdered? Although PB2 and traditional almond butter are alike in flavor, there a few things that we think make PB2 the better choice for your busy lifestyle. Here’s our reasoning:
Fewer calories and less fat: Compared to its traditional counterparts, PB2 has 90% less fat and 70% fewer calories, all while still retaining the delicious almond butter taste that we know and love.
It’s protein-packed: Like its traditional counterparts, PB2 packs in the protein per serving. Depending on which variety of PB2 you’re using, you’ll find 4 to 6 grams of protein per 13-gram serving. Also, it’s easy to replace the protein powder in your morning smoothie with PB2, due to the similarity in the powder consistency.
More versatility in the kitchen: Because of its powdered form, it’s easy to incorporate PB2 into all of your favorite almond butter recipes. To keep things simple, we’ve sorted PB2’s best uses into three categories: bake, blend and mix.
It’s kosher, vegan, and gluten-free: Not only are PB2 products void of any GMOs, they also work well with a wide variety of dietary preferences.

I have faithfully been buying the PB2 Almond Powder for almost a year now. When they came out with the Roasted Almond Powder in addition to the regular I tried it and didn't like it so once it was done I switched back to the original and ordered the regular almond powder. When it arrived I could see immediately it was different. The powder was the same color as the roasted almond powder. Whereas the regular almond powder has ALWAYS been an off white color this was brown. As soon as I tasted it my suspicions were confirmed. It had a completely different taste and texture just like the roasted almond powder. YET the container was still labeled as the original. I thought maybe my container was just a weird fluke so I sent it back for a new one and the same thing happened! I tried multiple times of contacting the company and no one has answered my emails, messages or calls explaining this. If you're going to phase out the original almond powder fine but don't put different powder in the container and try to pass it off as the original because it's definitely not.
The almond butter is just okay to me. I prefer the peanut powder and the peanut powder with cacao. To be fair I've only tried it once so maybe I'll like it more the next time.
I ordered this product 2 weeks ago today, and have not even received it. Hopefully it will come today. This is the longest it's taken for my pb2. I hope this doesn't happen again🤔🤐
Add some protein to a smoothie or your cereal without the calories. This is almond meal with the oil that would be in spreadable almond butter. Add protein and nutrition to baked goods.
